Ugnayan sa Pasig
Ugnayan sa Pasig (UsaP) – Freedom of Information Office was developed in conjunction with the Pasig City LGU’s thrust towards good governance, transparency, and full adherence to the Pasig City Transparency Mechanism Ordinance No. 37. The office falls under the jurisdiction of the Office of the Administrator and is seen as the LGU’s arm for creating informed and involved citizens.
Through Ugnayan, the citizens can request any piece of information found within the city’s available records for their own research and knowledge. As the citizen helpdesk, Ugnayan acts as the all-in-one tip line where citizens and LGU employees can report and file complaints, make suggestions, or request for information or services.
Ugnayan heightens the overall transparency and quality of government services, and ensures that the public at large is informed of their government’s actions and transactions.
Through creating an informed citizenry, the people can actively participate in in the creation of policies and ordinances that govern the community. Furthermore, it reduces the infrastructure and socio-economic concerns that surrounds them, creating better quality of life.
