ROBERT "BOBBY" CRUZ EUSEBIO

          Known as “Mr. Serbisyong Totoo,” Mayor Robert C. Eusebio began his pleasing public service way back 1998 as City Councilor. He was the No. 1 Councilor of Pasig City for three (3) consecutive elections and most outstanding councilor also for three (3) consecutive terms. Elected as Mayor in 2007, he leads the advocate of “Green Program” for the city as a module of his entire projects and frameworks. 

          He studied at Richmond College, Surrey, London, England and also a graduate from the University of the Philippines Diliman with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Architecture.

          Mayor Eusebio’s 20 years in local government service gained various awards and recognition national and international. He is the Outstanding Culture Friendly Local Government Official conferred by UNESCO and the National Commission for culture and Arts in 2008. Also, a “Galing Pook” National Awards for Environment programs in 2010. The first International recognition was at Xiamen, China where he is the presentor for Pasig Green City program where the City got the bronze award, and one of the Team Pasig who received the International Liveable Communities 2013 for Pasig City. He actively pushed eco-friendly and viable transportation, making the city as awardee for the Galing Pook for its Bayanihan sa Daan Sustainable Transport Program in 2017. As a reflection of his Good Governance, Pasig City recognized during the 2017 Seal of Good Local Governance from the Department of Interior and Local Government with a 97% rating last November 2017. Mayor Eusebio’s eco-tourism advocacy led to the awarding for our city as one of the ASEAN’s 50 Landmark Cities and Environmentally Sustainable City Award given during the ASEAN Tourism Awards in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

          Also during his term, Pasig City’s Public Safety Project has been named as one of the most outstanding Smart City Project by the IDC (International Data Corporation) Asia Pacific International Data Corporation under the public safety category for the Smart Public Safety Management System. Recently, the city got the National Champion for One Planet, One City Challenge 2018 by the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) in the field of Urban sustainability last August 2018.
